If you have uBlock Origin installed, you can delete the top button and it doesn't seem to cause any issues. The filter I used to do it:
www.youtube.com###subscribe-button-shape > .yt-spec-button-shape-next--enable-backdrop-filter-experiment.yt-spec-button-shape-next--size-m.yt-spec-button-shape-next--mono.yt-spec-button-shape-next--tonal.yt-spec-button-shape-next

Additional fixes in 2.2.1
Update and this will be solved for accounts that are affected, and those that don't have a problem will be ready for when youtube makes the change to their account.
