Auto-skip YouTube Shorts when they end, complete with a sleek on-screen counter and hotkey support.
Created by Merlyn, this script enhances the Shorts experience by automatically skipping to the next video once the current one finishes. Includes keyboard controls, visual counters, and stat tracking for power users.

On-screen counter showing how many Shorts have been skipped
Keyboard controls:
N – Next short
P – Previous short
S – Toggle auto-skip
R – Reset counter
D – Force show the counter (debug)

💻 How It Works:
The script constantly checks if you’re on the Shorts page (/shorts) and hooks into YouTube’s player to track when the video is nearly finished. Once it hits 99%, it simulates a click to the next short. The counter UI updates automatically and supports hotkeys for manual control.

Runs only on YouTube (youtube.com)
